Please make note of the following terms and conditions and read them carefully. These user terms are a legal document and on your booking with Penton&Co, you agree to be bound by these user terms.
PAYMENTS
The person signing this document and scheduling the appointments is responsible for all payments for the bridal party.
Upon booking with Penton&Co a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee of services quoted is required to secure your wedding date. Your artist does not accept any other clients for the day of your wedding so once this deposit is paid, the entire day is yours. (see Covid policy below)
If any services are wanting to be removed before this date, the 50% deposit of that service is non-refundable. You are welcome to add services to your booking at any time.
The remaining 50% of your payment is due 1 month prior to your wedding day. Once this is paid, services may not be removed or refunded.
PRICING/ADDITIONAL COSTS
Penton&Co have a minimum booking fee of $1,000.00 on Fridays and $1,500.00 on Saturdays. (not including travel fees if applicable)
Prior to the wedding date the client will receive instruction on how everyone's skin and hair should be prepared for the day. Hair must be completely dry upon arrival or you will be charged the full price of a blow-dry ($80) in addition to your upstyle. The client understands that if these instructions are not adhered to, then the schedule of the day may run overtime.
TRAVEL/PARKING FEES
Travel fees apply per artist depending on their location. Please enquire for a detailed proposal for your wedding day.
Parking costs must be covered by the client where free parking onsite cannot be found. Valet parking must be paid for at hotels.
ADDITIONAL ARTIST FEE
If you have a large booking there is an additional artist management fee of $200 per each artist added to your booking so everyone can get ready in good time.
EARLY START
There will be an early start fee of $150.00 per artist if the schedule of the day and services booked requires the team to start before 6am or if the wedding location means we need to start travelling before 5.30am.
TIMING
All clients must adhere to the schedule provided by Penton&Co on the day and be available for their allocated appointments.
CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS DUE TO COVID-19
If you need to reschedule or cancel your wedding day due to government restrictions, no refunds can be offered, however your booking fee can be transferred once, free of charge to your new date within 12 months, pending availability. If we are not available, you can use your booking fee for hair and/or makeup for another event, a hair and/or makeup lesson within 12 months.
If there are no government restrictions in place for your date yet but you choose to reschedule your wedding date “just in case” then you can either move your wedding day to a Monday-Thursday within 12 months, or you will forfeit your booking fee and will need to make a new booking for your new wedding date.
REFUNDS
We do not offer refunds for any completed services. Therefore if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to discuss with your artist while they is on location. All discussions regarding refunds/discounts/transfers will be entered into on a case-by-case basis.
CANCELLATIONS OF TRIAL APPOINTMENTS
You are asked to kindly give a minimum of 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel or change a trial appointment. Cancellations or missed appointments without prior notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50%.
EXTRA PEOPLE WANTING STYLING ON THE DAY
If any additional people require makeup or hair styling on the day, but do not have an appointment, this is not a problem providing there is time. These are to be paid separately to the original invoice on the day.
PHOTOS
To assist with future hairstyles and makeup looks and for promotional proposes, your artist may take photos or videos prior, during and upon completion of any styles and looks they create. These photos may be used for public display (website, social media, business cards, etc) If you are uncomfortable with this and wish for your images not to be used, please advise us ahead of time.
OTHER
We are not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to notify us if you have sensitive skin or have any known allergies. You are more than welcome to bring your own product that you are familiar with and we will be happy to use that.
CONTAGIOUS ILLNESS/COVID EXPOSURE
The client must inform Penton&Co if anyone receiving a service has any respiratory symptoms or has been a close or casual contact of Covid-19. We reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who seems unwell or has respiratory symptoms on the day of the wedding.
If the client has any other contagious diseases ie: coldsores/conjunctivitis this MUST be brought to our attention and we will implement the correct procedures so our makeup or hair kit and/or any other clients are not exposed to risk.
In the extremely unlikely event that we should be unable to fulfil your booking due to severe illness, injury or personal emergency, we will do everything possible to transfer your booking to another reputable and competent artist either within the Penton&Co team or in our close knit industry. If there is no availability, you will be offered a full refund.
